Prode ltd roll (reel spliter). Accepts 2.5m wide x 1.5m dia rolls. This reel splitters is conveyor fed, therefore the main bed knows at the anvil is a heavily machined construction fitted as an integral part of the conveyor. The hydraulic cylinders operate in series. The hydraulic system comprises of a pump , electric motor, valves and oil tank (located inside the hollow knife support beam). On the knife beam there are a number of safety switches which if the beam becomes more than 3 degrees out of true then the machine will stop and return to the top position, where it will centalize itself. There is also limit switches for the upper and lower limits of the knife beam.
