The Goulds AF24 axial flow pump is a high-capacity, low-head industrial pump featuring standard 24-inch (600 mm) discharge and suction sizes and a back pull-out design for ease of maintenance.

The Goulds Model AF axial flow pump line is designed for demanding applications involving corrosive or abrasive solutions and slurries, such as in chemical processing, mining, pulp and paper, and municipal sewage treatment.

• Design: It is a cast-design pump (for sizes 6-36 inches), featuring a robust bearing frame and heavy-duty shaft for extended service life in continuous duty services.
• Back Pull-Out Construction: This feature is standard on sizes up to 36 inches, allowing the rotating assembly to be removed for maintenance without disturbing the piping connections.
• Capacity and Head: The overall AF line handles flow rates up to 200,000 GPM and heads up to 30 feet (13 PSI). Specific performance for the 24x24 size depends on the motor and impeller selection (multiple options available).
• Material Options: The pump is available in a wide range of materials, including cast iron, 304 and 316 stainless steel, alloy 20, duplex alloys, and titanium, to suit specific service requirements.
• Durability Features:Tapered bore stuffing box: Enlarged for improved lubrication and cooling of the mechanical seal, extending seal life.
• Labyrinth seals: Non-contacting unitized design to prevent bearing failure from lubricant contamination.
• Adjusting lugs: Built-in bolts allow for precise, easy alignment of both the impeller clearance and stuffing box runout to minimize wear.
• Configuration: The pump is available in top or end suction configurations and is often V-belt driven to allow for varying speeds, though gear reducers and jack shafts for direct connect operation are also possible.
