• Construction: Key components like the sliding head, base lining, and internal construction are typically made with or lined with Type 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The shaft features a replaceable sleeve, often ceramic coated.
• Adjustment Mechanism: Plate positioning is managed by an electromechanical positive-action system, which can be a 2-speed gearmotor or a variable frequency drive (VFD) gearmotor for precise control of the plate gap (0.0003-0.005").
